About KSRE

Matthew is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with over 25 years' experience in commercial property across the East Midlands. Before co-founding KSRE, he was Lead Director of JLL's Nottingham office, where he advised on some of the largest office transactions in the regions, including the HMRC office pre-lets in Nottingham and Peterborough and the E.ON office pre-let at Trinity Square. He also advised on the sale and subsequent funding of the former Imperial Tobacco site in Nottingham and the acquisition of Loxley House for Nottingham City Council.

At KSRE, Matthew leads on development and agency work. He has a strong track record of assembling complex design and build deals, bringing landowners, developers, funders and occupiers together and keeping every party aligned from first conversation to completion. He helps clients take sites from early strategy through to letting or sale, and finds the right buildings for occupiers. His experience covers industrial and logistics, offices, mixed-use and large-scale urban extensions.

Away from the office, you'll usually find him tinkering with his classic cars or walking his dog.

James brings over 20 years' extensive experience in commercial agency and development, previously serving as a Director at JLL’s Nottingham office. James advises landlords, occupiers and developers on disposals, acquisitions and development strategy across the industrial and office sectors. His work spans end‑to‑end agency services, combining market insight with a strong track record in delivering commercially driven outcomes for clients.
